Tea saponin powder(Molecular Formulate: C₅₇H₉₀O₂₆) is light yellow powder, it tastes bitter and spicy. It's easy to be dissolved in water, water-contained methanol, water-contained ethanol, glacial acetic acid, acetic anhydride and pyridine etc. Its melting point is 224°C.

Applications

1) Molluscicide Area    
It is a botanical molluscicide, which is largely applied in rice field to kill snails, especially Golden Apple Snail, without any potential harm to human, animals and environment. It also can ensure high harvest and top quality of rice without accumulated harmful elements.    
2) Aquaculture Area
